When difficulties surround us there is a tendency towards retreating into quick contempt, cynicism and giving way to downright negative emotions. Is this what Sai children should do?

When the going gets difficult, doubts arise. Doubts about our own abilities, and much worse doubts about our own faith in Sri Sai. Doubting our own abilities might be a helpful attitude as it aids one in stopping, evaluating, thinking through the crises and finding solutions to our problems. On the other hand, doubting our faith in Baba is more calamitous and should be unbecoming of a Sai child.

"My business is to give blessings". "Allah has entrusted certain lives to me and I have to give an account (of everything) to Him". These are Baba's words and He never speaks untruth.

Unswerving faith in Sri Sai coupled with supple patience is what one needs in order to find the way out of difficulties. As the lessons of life are learnt, our individual experiences with Sri Sai will strengthen the cords of indebtedness that binds us to Baba. Inseparable.

Attitude of such a Sai child should be like that of??

the bird that broke her wings, robbed off her flight, crashing onto the ground from sky as her dreams turn misty??.. yet, kept saying to herself to smile, because whatever is robbed shall return tomorrow!

Contributed Article: Storm Within

When a storm brews inside one; it uproots and shakes all the foundations of one's faith and beliefs. When it is further fueled by pride, ego and jealousy it creates hatred and one starts pouring venom out on everyone. Loved ones and strangers alike get hurt in the rage that burns inside one. The mind not being calm or clear oscillates between two opposite extremes. It makes one feel that the entire world is their enemy and there is not one that they can trust. The raging inferno if not checked within; defeats all logic and reason and leads one into a miserable situation. Not knowing what is best course of action; such persons often make mistakes which they are sure to repent in the future. They shut themselves off in a self built cocoon. Even their spouse, family or friends who try to help them with pure intentions are misunderstood. Such is the mental state to which one is drawn fueled by their own imagination. The starting point of such a behavior may be some negative experience but the triggering effect is provided by their internal thoughts.

When such people are exposed to the Sadhguru, the perfect masters draw away their negativity and take it upon himself or herself thus providing much needed relief of such souls. The masters require explicit faith that they can help and patience on part of the persons undergoing such mentally strenuous experiences. Covering themselves with the non measurable compassion of the master and their ocean of mercy; one can tide over such emotionally disturbing experiences and in the process gain control on their lives leading to happiness and peace of mind.

Sai Devotee
Here is a Sai Devotee's experience. I saw Sai Baba's photo almost more than 10 years back, because my MD is a stanch devotee of Sai. Even most of the employees in that company are Sai devotees, but nothing attracted me, since I am very much influenced by J.Krishnamurthy's atheist teachings. Then few years back my neighbor told me about Sai's temple at Injambakkam in Chennai on the East Cost Road (ECR) on the way to Mahabalipuram. As I bought new vehicle we used to drive to ECR during weekends. So, whenever we go to ECR we visit this temple and slowly we have been attracted towards Sai. Surprisingly my father had a small statue of Sai for longtime in our pooja room, which I noticed only recently. Whenever we had problems we prayed to Sai and he always answered to our calls. My brother-in-law is suffering from vision problem and could not complete his BE final semester. We tried all kind of treatment for the last 6 years. He is suffering from Optic Neuritis, as of now it is under research and no treatment is available. We also tried stem cell operation but the doctors told us that all the cells are dead in his eyeball and even stem cell operation will not bring back the vision. He tried suicide couple of time but not successful. So, we decided to find some social organisation, which can provide some training and get him a job, but nothing clicked. We prayed to Baba and also bought ring or dollar with Sai's photo but either it will break or he will misplace it. Few months back we gave another dollar with Sai's picture which he is still wearing now. Finally now he is undergoing training at National Association for Blind, Karnataka at Bangalore and they will also find a suitable job for him. He strongly believes that his life changed for better only after wearing Sai's dollar. Now even though I am going through one of the toughest assignment in my career, I am confident in Sai's saying that "When someone casts their burden on me and thinks of me, I help"

I therefore came to inform you here, please go there quickly and cover me with 'Bhakkal' flowers."

I have sent my problem in the prayer club. But still my mother and sister are not treated properly and it is going to the worst and the lady who has to be like daughter in law is behaving like a mother in law and mother in law as daughter in law but to the worst situation. yes i am not lying. We all can go and fight with with her. But since we did not broghtup like that and our brother is like my parents who will never say anything and who have to take care of our second sister who is staying with him, is totally ill treated by my brother's wife. Yesterday whole day my mother and sister were crying like anything and since morning i am in tears today by not knowing what to do for my mother and sister. Baba atleast now you bless my mother and sister by giving a peace of mind and forgive their mistakes if they have done in the past by not knowing to them. Please baba do this for me.

O , my baba I am in deep mental distress .You know every thing about me. I feel that I am alone in this vast world. You know how I grew ; just like an orphan .Still The Almighty was with me always. He provided me with food , clothings , and fascilities for education .Still I committed sins in this life. What is the significance of chapter 15 of Sri Sai Satcharitha?

Chapter 15 in Sai Satcharitra highlights the fact that Saibaba is Antaryami. He is omnipresent. His abode is our heart. If we recite His name with pure devotion, He will listen to us. He knows what is happening in the minds and hearts of all living beings. He is kind to His devotees. He does not like pompous spreading of His name but only wants devoted reciting of His leelas. As this chapter gives live events which displayed the above characteristics, Author stresses us to read it every now and then and realise that Saibaba is always with us at all times.
