Feature of the
week: Importance of Human Birth
Human birth is fortunate; it is the only form of life that is bestowed
with the ability to question the known and yearn for the unknown. This
yearning, if sincere, will at one point raise the question of what is
the objective of living and what has to be achieved by human life? What
would be the achievement of life that is permanent and irreversible? This
pursuit will lead one to Sadguru and fortunate are those who realize the
significance of Sadguru as that repository of wisdom, the source of all
answers.
A strong conviction that the help of a realized soul is indispensable
for a holistic pursuit for answers will become clear to a seeker. The
yearning can be called sincere only when the things of material nature
will become less and less important gradually. Realization that human
body can cease to exist any time will in a way help the seeker to make
the best use of the medium. While a material man hankers after acquiring
material wealth, the fortunate ones will be quick enough to understand
the importance of human life and make the best use of it.
With the constant companionship of Sadguru, the virtuous master, fortunate
ones begin their pursuit. In a short time, their focus will shift to the
human virtues of truth, love, humility, forgiveness, charity, peace, and
non-attachment. These fortunate ones will notice the changes in their
nature because of their companionship with Sadguru. The vices associated
with worldly nature of the human body will slowly vanish and the virtues
due to the companionship will begin to accrue. All the fears associated
with earthly dealings will be slowly replaced by a sense of fearlessness.
A state of being that is always fearless, happy and contended.

Article: Miracles of sacred Vibuti or Udi
It was the month of March, 2007 when I returned from Shirdi after offering
my obeisance for the first time. I felt as if I was being followed by
Sai Babaji. When I returned, I checked up my email sent by my daughter,
who was at Dubai, telling that one of the colleagues of my son in law,
was in the ICU, after brief illness and before that he was talking all
non-sense and there are hardly any chances of his survival and she was
worried about his wife and his small boy. Immediately after reading, I
got restless and wanted to send sacred Udi/vibuti to her. I was very much
anxious to send him vibuti soonest to her for that boy named Rajeev. In
the meantime, I was told by my elder daughter that she will try to find
out as one of his colleagues had to go to Dubai. She contacted the office
and was told that he will not be coming to office and he had to leave
that very day. My daughter told her that she had to send something to
be delivered at Dubai. He told her that his father-in- law, had to come
to Airport to see him off and I could deliver the same to him, who was
residing in Sarojini Nagar and gave his address. I immediately contacted
them and delivered sacred Vibuti in a packet. Next day, my daughter collected
the same and went to the hospital, where he was admitted in ICU. She met
his wife there and told about the vibuti sent by me from Shirdi with the
direction to give him immediately with water or to put it in his mouth.
His wife told her that she was also devotee of Sai Baba but did not know
what to do. She further told her that his husband did not believe in Him.
Anyhow, she gave the vibuti to his husband. I was very anxious to know
about his welfare through email. After about 3 days, I received email
from her telling 'Daddy - Miracle has happened' as she had read and heard
only in books or through some one the miracles of His Vibuti but now she
was now convinced and will be able to tell others the powers of sacred
Udi even now. After knowing this, I could not control on myself as tears
rolled over in my eyes due to happiness, as He had obliged me and did
His best to save a precious life. I had got such a solace and satisfaction
as it had averted a tragedy and I was more satisfied and happy person
as it had given me energy to tell all those in contact with me to tell
about the miracles of Sai Baba. I cannot express the mental satisfaction
and happiness achieved by me due to the efforts and support of my wife,
daughters in this noble path and after this incident we all have become
devotees of Sai Baba. When on regaining consciousness his husband came
to know the sacred effect of Sai Baba's vibuti, he also became a devotee
of Sai Baba. As everyone got surprised over his recovery, his employer
gave him 3/4 months salary and other benefits to enable him to take up
rest to be with his parents and his country. He came to Shirdi to pray
his offers. After this incident, they became closer to my daughter and
my son in law and became like our family members. Whenever this miraculous
incident comes to my mind, I cannot help but to tell others whenever I
am with friends or in any function, I make it a point to tell this incident,
so that those who have faith in Him could avail the benefit as He rightly
told his devotees during His life time that we need not worry unnecessary
as He will continue to help all who have faith in Him and have 'shraddha'
and 'saburi'.
After this incident, Sai Baba helped all our family members in many ways
in coming out of financial mess and resultant problems. My both daughters
as well as their husbands managed to get good jobs and their financial
condition got improved and other problems got solved. Even our relatives
have been able to tide over financial and other problems, simply by praying
to Sai Baba at our instance.

Experiences of Devotees:

With Sai Baba's grace and blessings, being auspicious Thursday today,
I will be trying to put forward few experiences, which I have experienced
so far. During all these years I have found Baba presence so closely,
which has always instilled a sense of confidence and faith in me towards
Great Baba. This has led me to consciously think of Baba in every little
action I do or want to do. Many times I feel he is just sitting next to
me and stealing my thoughts and guiding thru these in every step of my
life. I never had heard or seen Baba till year 1991, I had an opportunity
to visit Baba's temple with my family, that was the first time I think,
I was summoned to his court, during that time I was gifted Sai Satcharita
in Hindi by someone (don't remember). My office was 40 mints drive from
my home so everyday I would pick up this book and go thru it during my
travel time. This was a daily routine, I was so much engrossed in the
stories of Baba that I started humming his name deeply within. During
this year I had conceived my first baby who was three months old, and
it so happened I had a fatal accident and was thrown from the scooter
my husband was driving. We both fell down and I was unconscious and was
swiftly taken to nearby hospital, all tests done and ultrasounds done,
nothing bad had happened to the baby, it was just miracle I think Baba's
reading saved me there, I was sent back to home with slight bruise all
over, and was writhing with terrible pain and was just remembering Baba
by humming Shri Sainath all the time. As the night fell around 11.30 p.m.
(midnight), from some unexpected quarters we had a guest not known to
us knocking at the door. My father in law opened and first thing this
person is telling him that you have a problem at home, I have got Udi
for that. After talking to him this God driven person comes into my bedroom
where I was lying and he applies Udi on my forehead and makes me to eat
some of it and he vanishes. I didn't realize at that time what is happening
thought someone is there to help me get thru this. This was another miracle,
which had happened that day itself. From there my journey had just begin,
Baba Wanted to instill faith in me and I along with my child were blessed
by him only. He had taken somebody' form and came knocking my soul at
that time. From then on I had lot many experiences which I will be sharing
with you. He is my true Guru, a living Guru, Great faculty in and is always
teaching me nuances of working life. Jai Shri Sainath.

I want to share my brother's experience. He lost his job and was diagnosed with clinical depression soon after. He would get job offers but he would resign due to his mental state. Everybody was very worried but my mom had faith in Baba. She prayed for my brother day and night. Then last year my brother got back his job. The job he had resigned with no apparent reason. This is nothing short of a miracle because no employer will call back a person who resigned against everybody's advise. Now my brother's health is better and he may even stop his medication soon. I hope Baba will always be with us and guide us in the right direction.

Baba thanks for delivering bujjamma on Mar 7, a day before you promised us deva. Thanks for keeping both moms during delivery. Words can't explain how thankful we are Baba. Please help bujjamma with cold, and be with her always deva, Baba you know whats going on with her feeding. Please see that she gets fed well and please take care of her deva.

Q. What is the attitude of Sai devotees towards raising their children?

Firstly i am surprised to see no one has responded so far. from my experience
i have done everything to bring my child to know trust and love Sai for
that will certainly make him/her a better person in life-for Baba we are
all his children and as my love for him grew over the years so did that
of my child -at first thier devotion is probably to ape the parent and
try to do things to 'please mummy' but later as they grow up the devotion
becomes theirs and if they do become true believers and worship Baba then
i would say lucky them! We as parents can do our best for our children
but in the end it is really upto them as to what path in life they wish
to take-as Baba rightly says 'what is with us(good or bad)is ours and
what is theirs(good or bad )is with them so we all have to take our individual
paths and realise what is right or wrong .
