(Who dare say Baba's beacon does not speak? What is needed are faith and patience, to seek the light and be one with it!)

Sadguru is the most precious thing anyone can find. The rarest of jewels, Sainath is one such Sadguru that bestows the benefits to those who seek Him. The One that declared that nobody shall return with empty hands still proves it. What is needed is unconditional faith and abundant patience with a disposition that He knows what is best. If the pursuit is material, it will be achieved. If the pursuit is spiritual, it will be achieved too. Shama's rhetoric that he would break the coconut on God's head is an assurance to those simple-minded devotees approaching Him with folded hands. One should also remember that not everyone that flocks around is benefited. While it is considered a fortune to know Sai Baba, it is also misfortune to let the opportunity to pass by. Let this Thursday be a reminder of all the wonderful things Sadguru Sainath has done for His children. Let this also be a day to contemplate on the spiritual coffers that the fakir of Shirdi has to offer.

Contributed Article: BE A BLACK BODY

Hari Om. Sai Ram. You must have studied about 'black body' in your school/college science, but here is a refresher. An ideal black body absorbs completely all the light, heat (radiation) that falls upon it and similarly when it radiates, it radiates with an emissivity of 1, i.e. completely. Now, what is the need for us to bother ourselves about the black body? Simple. Anything and everything becomes a Teacher (Guru), if we have the urge to learn. Sri Dattatreya as Avadhuta tells of His 24 Gurus! In Sri Sai Satcharitra (Chapter 39 of English Edition by Shri Gunaji), there is a nice narration of how Baba pricked the bubble of Nana's learning. Baba explains the real meaning of the Gita Sloka, 'tadviddhi pranipatena pari prasnena sevaya.....' to Sri Nanasaheb. The gist of that is that the disciple should approach the Guru in a spirit of humility and sincere desire to learn.

If the Sishya is perfectly humble, he will be like the black body at a lower temperature and will absorb the teachings of the Guru, who too is a perfect black body, but at a higher temperature. When the ajnana of the sishsya is thus boiled off or burnt off by the incident radiation of jnana, the sishya becomes a Guru himself.

When he becomes a Guru and starts guiding other sishyas, the former sishya should again be like a perfect black body, i.e. he should not hold back anything to a deserving sishya, who is a perfect black body but at a lower temperature! As brought out in Satcharitha, a Sadguru never thinks that He is greater than His disciple is or that He is doing the disciple a favor!

Science and spirituality are not really much different. The attitude to explore and learn is common to both. The goals and the means of reaching the goals are different. Sai Ram.

Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai. We are devotees of Baba since a long time. We experienced many miracle of Baba in our life and I feel like sharing one of them. We used to visit Shiridi whenever we were blessed by Baba. Last year when I went on vacation to India, we planned a trip to Shiridi. We started early in the morning in our car and for lunch we stopped on our way. We had lunch and started again with our journey. After 10-15 minutes of travel, suddenly I realized that one of my finger rings was missing. All of us felt very sad about it and we were upset sentimentally. I asked my driver to turn the vehicle back and I wanted to check back at the place where we had lunch. So immediately, we came back in about 10-15 minutes and experienced the miracle of Baba. My ring was just lying on the ground outside the place where we had our lunch. The place was so busy and very crowded. Without the blessings of Sai not only I would have lost the ring but my sentiments would have been hurt very badly. A gold ring lying on the ground outside a busy place unnoticed is something impossible. It is just nothing but miracle of Baba. All of us had real good darshan of Baba in Shiridi and we recollect the miracle of Baba whenever we think of our Shiridi trip. I feel blessed to share my experiences with my Sai family. Dear Sai Bhakthas, often we come across prayers seeking some favors on materialistic advantages in our life. All are expecting their prayers must be resolved with positive results, yet everyone knows Sai Mother always take care of Her Children's health and future welfare, by not offering immediate need of the children. It is natural that child will get frustration on not getting things what he/she wanted.

Sai Mother knows our past, present and FUTURE. She administers right medicine at right time. Child may feel bitter taste now, but this is for the betterment of the child. In Sri Sai Satcharitha Chapter XXV, Dahamu Anna was saved of from his enormous financial losses by stopping him to proceed with his business plans with cotton broker and grain business. In stead, Baba awarded him a superior gift (four sons and four daughters) than any other financial gains in his business deals, that is 'Amar-leela' despite there was a 'papi' planet in his horoscope.

It is a clear message to all Sai children in this universe, just pray to Sai Mother, rest She will take care of our future. Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai.

I am 21 yrs old. I live in England (UK), i have experienced a lot in life that a 21 yr old would not. But thanks to Baba, I made it through. I was very depressed that i was close to committing suicide, i could not understand why i felt like this, and I had my family and love from everyone. I think it was just so i have faith in Baba. I would like to tell the devotees that Baba is everywhere, he does answer you prayers only if you have shraddha and saburi. This is very important, do not pray for a reward! You will be happy and prosperous if you think of Baba at all times! May Baba answer all your prayers.

I am leaving this work of finding the right grooms for both of them, at YOUR LOTUS FEET. It is just that they are dejected with life and hence pray that YOU find them the right persons soon.

Baba, You have always kept Your merciful glance on me and ensured that I do not have any problems. Although things do seem to go awry sometimes and I start panicking, You quickly draw me out it. You have always helped me believe what You say "Why fear when I am here". Baba, but the problems which started in my life last August after one whole year of complete happiness just don't seem to leave me alone. They keep resurfacing so often. Uncertainties all around me make me feel so insecure. Baba, I am very ashamed to say that I am overcome by feelings of jealousy and selfishness due to this. I try to control it a lot but it is there still. Please help me become the nice person I was and please take away all my miseries. We came to the US two years since then we do not have a peace of mind. My Husband is not getting a permanent job. He was at home for nearly 1 years and 7 months, he got a job but it was only 3 months. Still he is searching. We came to know about Saibaba and his miracles thru our friend. Shridi Sai Baba Mandir, Sector 16-A, Faridabad, Haryana, India
Smt.Meera Rehaja, a great ardent devotee of Lord Sainath is responsible for establishing this beautiful Sai Mandir in the city of Faridabad. Thousands of devotees are visiting this huge mandir and obtain blessings of Lord Sainath. Separate place for Dhuni and Dwaraka Mayee inside this mandir. To the needy women, tailoring classes are conducted to enable the women to earn good livelihood and help the family. Similarly, Medical facilities for the needy are provided. For the benefit of devotees, during summer, mandir is maintained with good air conditioner facility. On all Thursdays and other important days and holidays, periodical Narayana Seva is done. Many devotees and volunteers participate and organize the Narayana Seva, Prasadam distribution etc., very well. Sri P.L.Kumar, the present President of this Mandir with his dedicated team is attending to improve the Mandir further for the benefit of devotees' good darshan of Lord Sai. On 2 March 2002, one of the Trustees of this Mandir, Shri M.L.Goel, brought out SRI SAI RAMAYANA. Many devotees assembled and enjoyed the thrilling chanting of SRI SAI RAMAYANA. Sri K.Ramaswamy, President (1997-2001, All India Sai Samaj (Regd), Chennai) a frequent visitor to this mandir, visited during the last week of February 2002 and was thrilled to see the good dedicated activities of the present team in all spheres including peaceful dhyana Mandap on first floor. Shri K.Ramaswamy visited the other Sai Mandir in the old Faridabad, Sai Dham.

"Shri Shirdi Sai Chitra Yatra(Pictorial Journey)", started in USA on Jan 01, 2002. With anchor points across USA concurrently participating from day one, this unique event is off to a great start.

The journey which involves the ceremonial travel of Baba in the form of a portrait will stop at all Baba devotees homes who are interested in being a host to his protrait. The Yatra which will run till fall of this year, is open to one and all. There is no fees or charges involved to take part in this event. You may participate either as a host home or serve as an anchor point in your community.
